About the Institute of Interim Management Since September 2002, the IIM has been a fully independent professional Institute and incorporated as a not-for-profit organisation limited by guarantee. For further background information, view the History page.
We are the only independent UK body serving the interests of Interim practitioners on an international basis. Our membership is accredited and offers the user organisation the comfort of a level of quality delivery and an Interim who has positively signed up to a code of professional conduct. Our remit is to meet the needs of individual practitioners, so that they are best placed to obtain assignments either through top quality Providers or by their own marketing activities. For further information about the aims and activities of the IIM, view the Chairman's Welcome.
The Institute is governed by its Memorandum and Articles of Association, which set out its constitution. Under the Articles, the work of the Institute is directed by its Management Board, which is composed of Members of the Institute elected in May at the Annual General Meeting. The work of the Board is supported by a number of sub-committees, all of which are chaired by a Board member. More information about the Board.
